"Mastering the Science Instrument and Observing Modes of JWST - Get Set" to be held on on 4-6 October 2017, ESAC, Madrid

In anticipation of the first JWST Call for Proposals in late November 2017, the European Space Agency is organizing a series of workshops to engage and inform the astronomical community.

The first workshop, held in September 2016, showcased the capabilities of the JWST science instruments, their observing modes, and their expected in-orbit performance.

This second workshop will provide hands-on experience with the various tools to help you prepare and submit proposals for JWST. Among the tools to be showcased are the Target Visibility Tool, the Exposure Time Calculator (ETC), and the Astronomy Proposal Tool (APT).
